Purchasing a home is an opportunity to create a deeper connection to your community. Still, it’s normal to have reservations or feel overwhelmed. You’re making a significant investment. The more you know about the process, the more you’ll feel secure in your decision. That’s why I’ll stand by you throughout your entire home buying process, so you’ll always know exactly what to expect.

Once you buy a home, you can change almost everything about it except its location

Before we visit any homes, it’s important to take your time and create a wish list of your ideal property and neighbourhood. Consider what is important to you in a home for your current and future family size, what local amenities make your perfect neighbourhood, your commute time as well as school information.

Your wish list will evolve as you start touring homes, but having it will prevent you from purchasing a home in a rush of emotions that doesn’t meet your needs. It can be tempting to seal the deal in a hot market or when you find a place in your favourite neighbourhood, but our goal is to find you a place that ticks off most of the items on your list, so you only buy the property that’s closest to your dreams.

How we’ll work together to secure your new home

  • I’ll provide you with my signature wish list creation tool to help you identity your must-haves. From there, we’ll determine the types of properties and neighbourhoods to focus our efforts.

  • Now the search begins! Between daily updates as new properties hit the market, and me making my best Sherlock Holmes impression to source off-market options, we’ll visit homes that match your wish list!

    During this process, we’ll refine your wish list to reflect your experiences touring homes and neighbourhoods.

  • Yes! We’ve found a place you want to make yours.

    Using my neighbourhood knowledge along with the property’s features and highlights we’ll determine a strategic offer price and conditions to present to the seller.

  • Our goal is to work towards a successful transaction that leaves you feeling comfortable and confident with your decision.

    Every step of the way, you’ll get updates from me as well as my strategic advice about whether to proceed, pause or withdraw.

  • Time to counting the days until your new home is officially yours.

    I’ll manage all the final details for paperwork and between the seller’s agent, so all the boxes are checked.

    We’ll visit the property for your buyer visits, including bringing along any tradespeople you want.
